Top 5 Air Travel Apps Performance in Portugal: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the air travel app market in Portugal saw varied performance across the top five applications, as tracked by Sensor Tower.

Ryanair from Ryanair Ltd. experienced a consistent pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at about $19 in the week of December 23. Weekly downloads began at approximately 6.2K, dipping mid-quarter to 4.8K, and rising again to 5.7K by the end of December. Active users showed a dip from 135K to 117.7K but rebounded to 158.6K by the quarter's end.

TAP Air Portugal saw no revenue during this period. Downloads started at 4.5K, with a decline to 2.9K by mid-December, slightly recovering to 3.3K at the quarter's end. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 54.2K, peaking at 57.5K in late November, and settling at 44.6K.

easyJet: Travel App also reported no revenue. Downloads were initially 4.7K, decreasing to 2.9K by early December, before climbing back to 3.7K. Active users started at 79.1K, dropping to 48.5K, then rising to 69.9K by the end of the year.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker from Flightradar24 AB had a notable weekly revenue, peaking at $2.2K at the start and maintaining around $1.9K towards the end. Downloads were initially 3.2K, with a significant spike to 4.8K in late December. Active users showed a consistent trajectory, starting at 61.1K and concluding at 61.1K, with mid-quarter fluctuations.

Wizz Air - Book Flights reported no revenue. Downloads began at 1.4K, dipped to 1K, and then stabilized around 1.2K. Active users maintained a steady trend, starting at 6.7K and ending at 6.7K.
